Leadership coaching

Are you capable, switched-on, and still getting stuck? This is coaching – the thorough kind

Closer to diagnostic work than a weekly pep talk, I work with what's actually happening in your real life, whether you're building a career, transforming a business, or shaping a legacy project. You, and how you're seeing things, shape what happens next. So my approach to coaching is specifically designed to get you exploring how you think and why you act as you do. From there, the moves you make next are actually yours. Not just the next item on the list.

Build your capacity to see and act differently

A business isn't one fixed structure, it's a sequence of things you build, test, and learn from, each one a training ground for the next. The real aim of the coaching isn't handing you an answer. It's building your own capacity to adapt, so each thing you take on leaves you more capable of meeting the next one, not just depleted.

Two kinds of work, one seam

To shift your ability to adapt, there are two core elements brought together in coaching.

There's the work on you: the story that's become fixed in your head when it isn't, the quiet sense that this is just how the industry works, that only a policy change could fix it.

And there's the work on the thing itself: who's actually on your team, where the money's coming from, the choices behind how it's structured, whether what you're building is designed on purpose, or just inherited from how everyone else does it.

Imagine building your career, transforming your business or challenging the status quo with someone holding you and your vision together. That dip in enthusiasm wouldn't derail the mission. The setbacks wouldn't kill the endeavour. A different government wouldn't have you give up.

How coaching actually works

In practice, the shape of the coaching varies – sometimes a structured programme running over several months, sometimes something narrower, wrapped tightly around one specific decision or project. It's always centred around you and your mission. Inner and outer work fused together.

A simple first step

If you're on a mission and you can feel yourself getting stuck, or quietly putting decisions off while you handle the day-to-day, get in touch. There may be a fresh way to look at why the results aren't showing up yet.

A first conversation costs nothing. Staying stuck costs everything.
